About the Role: We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support the firm's marketing, communications, and business development initiatives. This hands-on role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys content creation, digital marketing, graphic design, and brand management while collaborating closely with attorneys and firm leadership.

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in enhancing the firm's visibility, supporting client development efforts, promoting recruiting initiatives, and maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence across all marketing channels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow their marketing career in a collaborative professional services environment. We value initiative, encourage professional development, and support team members who are eager to expand their skills and contribute to the firm's continued success.

About the Firm: Founded in 1977, Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP has grown from a small local practice into one of New Jersey's premier full-service law firms. With offices in New Brunswick, Hammonton, Red Bank, and New York City, our firm serves clients throughout the region across a broad range of practice areas.

Our team includes more than 100 professionals, including over 60 attorneys. We are approved counsel for many major insurance carriers and maintain a strong reputation in complex civil litigation, while also providing comprehensive legal services to businesses, institutions, and individuals.

We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, supportive workplace where employees are valued, encouraged to grow professionally, and empowered to make meaningful contributions to our clients and communities.

Marketing Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, and update marketing materials across digital and print platforms, including attorney biographies, brochures, advertisements, presentations, event collateral, social media graphics, and recruiting materials.
  • Assist with managing and updating content across the firm's website, social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
  • Draft and edit marketing content, including attorney announcements, practice area descriptions, newsletters, blog posts, event promotions, and recruiting communications.
  • Support the firm's social media presence by developing content calendars, creating posts, monitoring engagement, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Maintain attorney biographies, firm profiles, rankings, awards submissions, and other business development materials.
  • Coordinate logistics and marketing support for firm-sponsored events, sponsorships, networking opportunities, community engagement initiatives, and recruiting activities.
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to firm branding standards and maintain consistency across all communication channels.
  • Assist with photography, video content, promotional items, and other visual marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, printers, photographers, media partners, and marketing service providers to support projects and campaigns.
  • Monitor website analytics, social media metrics, and marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed on legal industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging digital marketing tools and platforms.

Marketing Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Two to five years of marketing, communications, or digital marketing experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services.
  • Experience creating and managing marketing content across multiple channels, including websites, email campaigns, social media, and print materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing/design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of website content management systems, SEO, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, firm leadership, vendors, and administrative staff.
