Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Four 10-hour shifts plus call Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Certifications: Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required Must-Have: - Knowledge of the GE Revolution Maxima 128-slice CT scanner, including AW workstation reformats. - Ability to operate the GE Revolution Maxima CT scanner. - Understanding of helical, axial, and CT fluoroscopy scanning. - Ability to maintain accurate and complete patient records. - Capability to relate to ordering physicians and assist them with pertinent CT protocol when necessary. - Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures with the ability to assist the radiologist when necessary. Description: Four 10-hour shifts plus on-call responsibilities are required. Knowledge of the GE Revolution Maxima 128-slice CT scanner is essential. Experience with AW workstation reformats is necessary. The ability to operate the GE Revolution Maxima CT scanner is required. Understanding of helical, axial, and CT fluoroscopy scanning is critical. Maintaining accurate and complete patient records is a must. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with ordering physicians. Assisting physicians with pertinent CT protocol will be expected. Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures is needed. The candidate should be able to assist the radiologist when necessary. Rural location; access to reliable transportation is required. Holiday coverage may be required.
